That would put my guard up. Why not, talk for a few minutes first, crack a few jokes, laugh and smile

and give her your phone number.....Me personally, when I first meet a guy, I like to see that he can joke around and laugh.

Okay, here's another one,

One day a guy decided to visit an old friend's grave. He picked
up some flowers to put on the grave as a show of respect.

He entered the grave and put the flowers on the grave of his
departed friend when he noticed another guy putting a beer on the
grave of his friend.

The guy thought this was rather amusing. He shouted over to the
other "My son, when do you think your buddy's going to come up
drink his beer!"

The guy man shouted back, "The same time that your friend comes
up to smell his flowers !!!!!"
laugh

i've gotten a lot of mean responses from women while trying this approach, if only they had some compassion and knew how hard it is, and yes the worst thing they can say is no, but it gets old after the thousandth time, if women want equal rights why don't they approach me and ask me out, i know why, because they couldn't handle the rejection either

walk to her
introducw yurself
handle her a card with a rose inside
write in the card what you have seen in her
be honest, there is nothing worst than a fake compliment
tell her (in the card) thyan you are inviting her for dinner and give her the exact addres of the restaurant and the time, that you will be there waiting for her
give her yur number and tell her you undertand she might be uncorfortable calling you but you will be more than pleased to get her phoine call

and if she can wink at yu as a sign she will be there or a sign you can aproach her back it will bright your day

finally tell her that if she is already taken, you are apologizing for bothering her

most if the times, whsn she is single she will take the invitation

and the final advice, dont misspell as bad as i do

I'd rather the guy hand me a business card.

Then at least I'd know if he was employed and what he does for a living.

A business card should have an email address too.

That way an email could be sent outside of his workday.

And the business card has no spelling mistakes, me thinks laugh

women are unable to handle rejection

the best way to check that is how they handle rejection when they contact you

I find that some men are shy ... the gentle approach seems to work best. If you like the look of someone just go for it. If they are friendly and receptive, you might have found someone.

I don't mind the 'cold' approach if done warmly!teddy bear

So how can you tell they don't handle rejection? Do they send you a nasty email?

Heck if someone can't be bothered, neither can I. Not worth getting upset about.

"Cold approach" sounds like some plan of action at a football match or target to get something done.

We are people. We interact. Calculation spoils romance. It's not like instructions on a flat-pack chest of drawers.

People meet or accidentally run into each other, maybe have some of the same interests or sense of humour. They make each other smile. If that happens, continue. If not, nothing lost. There will be someone else who will make you smile another time and you might make them smile too....

It's never a waste of time being nice to someone.

We are not a means to an end.

To put it another way, if a woman saw you and thought "he'd be good at mowing my lawn" and then set out coldly and calculatingly to chat you into doing it, wouldn't you feel insulted that she wasn't seeing the other things that might be good about you?

Same thing with sex. Try looking at a whole person, not just one area that might be useful to you when your hand gets tired........
