That would put my guard up. Why not, talk for a few minutes first, crack a few jokes, laugh and smile

and give her your phone number.....Me personally, when I first meet a guy, I like to see that he can joke around and laugh.

i've gotten a lot of mean responses from women while trying this approach, if only they had some compassion and knew how hard it is, and yes the worst thing they can say is no, but it gets old after the thousandth time, if women want equal rights why don't they approach me and ask me out, i know why, because they couldn't handle the rejection either

I can honesty say I have approached more men then I've had approach me. If I see someone I am truely interested in, I will make an effort to talk to them.... I never have gotten around to the part of asking them for a date or their number.... I figure thats up to them if I've taken the initiative to talk to them in the first place.

I've used the cold approach with women many times with little success. I really think it's best to meet through friends so the walls aren't up, if you know what I mean. What do you'all think of the cold approach? What I mean is walking up to a girl basically anywhere without knowing her and trying to get a date.

It all depends on how they approach... I am generally a fairly open individual. If they look like an ax murderer though... or I'm not in the mood to be messed with I give them the look and then look a different direction. if they don't get the idea then I'll delicately find my way to the ladies room and then make my way into the company of trusted friends.

I'd rather the guy hand me a business card.

Then at least I'd know if he was employed and what he does for a living.

A business card should have an email address too.

That way an email could be sent outside of his workday.

And the business card has no spelling mistakes, me thinks

i dont belive every one thas is emplyed has a bussines card

but if it is more important for yu what he is doing for a living, then, you are right

a bussines card is beter than a rose

by the way, if you will not be interested in meeting him while will you send him and e-mail to his bussines address
