What the meeting.

"Hi I am darlynda and I have been a alcoholic for 15 years?"

The first meeting is always the hardest.

Good luck!

Oh I do wish I had some advice for you, Darlynda...but having been in your shoes, I do know how stressful that first meeting is...you wonder and worry about so much (will he like me, will I like him, will it be awkward with uncomfortable silences, etc....)! But in the end, it will turn out ok...just remember that! Just be yourself and you will do just fine hug

Anytime babe.

Can I recommend that you don't go to the meeting with a bottle in a brown paper bag. It sets a bad example.

i don't get why people are so nervous on first dates. i think they're actually pretty easy. be yourself, make a point of having fun with or without him (since you'll have made the effort anyway) and relax. if you don't hit it off then you haven't really lost anything since you never had it in the first place. now SECOND dates......they're stressful rolling on the floor laughing

Deep breaths.. just try to be yourself.. and as Di says.. he will probably be as nervous as you. Just see it as meeting a new friend.. and not a love interest.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.....

Its a date?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, I did not know that.

Here are some common phrases and sayings that I use on first dates...You are welcome to use them also

"Hi I am Steven Schwartz"
"Can I park here"
"Where's the toilet?"
and
"Is it in yet?"

Just wear something low-cut....if he doesn't spend most of the evening talking to your cleavage, then you know he's not the guy for you....
