Zellarrone1Ahem, my posts were about the topic, you are just never happy

Lovely poem by the way, I just hope "he" appreciates it whoever he is[/quote wrote:

poetry is just poetry
you did no mention to the poem, but what you thought were my intentions

why is that a poem has to be dedicated to some one?

I actually got from it that it was from a woman's perspective...?? I am wrong then...??
D'oh!
It HAS been done.... and all the more clever and creative, I feel.... thumbs up

When it was queried, why didn't you just say that then?? dunno

I appreciate that poetry, art, music and the like can be put across from another perspective. For example, if one was a white, middle-aged, middle class male.... how long would one's art/poetry/ music career last if only given from that viewpoint? A true artist needs to "evolve" or metamorphasise accordingly, yes?

Saint-Saens' "Carnival of the Animals"?? Each instrument representing a different animal......

On a slightly lighter note, I bought a book for my mother that was about a dog-owner..... nothing exciting there, you may say but, from the dog's perspective. And it was so beautifully and cleverly written, it was believable about how the dog saw things, how it felt, etc. A darn good book!!

Thanks for the insight, Alex. thumbs up

PONDERISMS

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people
die of natural causes.

Gardening Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are
removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes
out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a
replacement.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

There are two kinds of pedestrians: the quick and the dead.

Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

MY FAVORITE:
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying
of nothing.

Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks
about seeing UFOs like they used to?

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is
weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a
whole box to start a campfire?

Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there? I'm gonna eat
the next thing that comes outta its butt."

Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?

Did you ever notice that when you blow in a dog's face, he gets mad at
you, but when you take him on a car ride, he sticks his head out the
window?

T.G.I.F. vs S.H.I.T.

A business man got on an elevator. When he entered,
there was a blonde already inside who greeted him
with a bright,"T-G-I-F."

He smiled at her and replied, "S-H-I-T."

She looked puzzled, and repeated, "T-G-I-F," more slowly.

He again answered, "S-H-I-T."

The blonde was trying to keep it friendly, so, she smiled her biggest
smile and said as sweetly as possibly, "T-G-I-F."

The man smiled back to her and once again, "S-H-I-T."

The exasperated blonde finally decided to explain,
"'T-G-I-F means Thank Goodness It's Friday. Get it duuhhh?"

The man answered, "'S-H-I-T' means "Sorry, Honey, It's Thursday"
