PS... Following your line of thinking about punishing current criminals...

Why aren't we focusing on Hillary Clinton??? She's current. She's in office - and there's TONS of proven and highly questionable stuff right there.

Shouldn't she at least be under the same microscope? I mean, allegations are allegations,,,,,,

I haven't read through this entire thread.. but I did glance over something from that dummy from Florida talking about the war in Iraq, their "independence and sovereignty" and something about lying about weapons of mass destruction...

first of all.. I served in the US Army.. in 1993 I was home on a medical discharge. I was brought back to Active Duty because of a little thing called "Stop Loss". I was sent to Ft. Bragg, assigned as a tailgater to the 10th Mountain Division and mobilized to Somalia. This has nothing to do with Iraq though.. ..aside from the fact that I witnessed 100's of violations of the ROE. ..by the Somali militia groups. But hey.. that's some other country and it's none of our business right? All this human rights crap you keep talking about y'know.. Militia groups STEALING MEDICINE AND FOOD from innocent civilians.. ..nothing like the smell of burning tires, blood, dead people and vomit every day.. ..throw in a few fire fights with militia members that haven't even reached puberty yet.. ..but of course this isn't our problem.

in 1989, Saddam Hussein ordered a two fly-bys over a Kurdish village in northern Iraq. The first wave dropped a series of small cluster bombs. ..nothing serious.. just some concussions that broke all the windows in the village.. nobody was seriously injured. The 2nd wave however felled a barrage of CHLORINE GAS CANISTERS which KILLED 3000 PEOPLE AND ALL THE ANIMALS.

NUMEROUS caches of chemical weapons have been found. NUMEROUS documents outlining production or attempted production of VX and SARIN gas have been found. How would you like to be at a football game and have someone drop some of that wonderful stuff in the stands... think you can outrun a gas cloud that expands at over 100 feet per second? killing everything in its path in under 3 seconds? I think not.. if so you'd be in the Olympics and we wouldn't be having this discussion.

The Geneva Protocol of 1925 BANNED THE USE OF CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS. Saddam Hussein violated this act *63 YEARS* after it was enacted.

As for all the soldiers dying over there.. well.. I could have died in Somalia several times. And guess what? I took the EXACT SAME OATH AS ALL THE SOLDIERS WHO HAVE BRAVELY FOUGHT AND DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY. And why did they die? SO YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO.

Nothing makes me more sick to my stomach than listening to a bunch of armchair politicians whine and complain about horseshit. You have NO idea what you're talking about.

as far as Iraq's "independence" goes.. yeah.. nothing like having a "leader" kill over 300,000 of his own people. Here's an idea for you.. picture our CIC murdering 12,000,000 Americans... Wouldn't you hope and pray for some other country to send in their military to liberate us from such a sadistic, murdering dictator? Do I need to tell the story of Spec. Kyle Casey on his mission to repair a generator which powered a water pump in a village which supplied the people with FRESH WATER AND SEWAGE which they didn't have for OVER 60 YEARS? yeah that's independence....

get a life.

2 years ago in Iraq on Memorial Day, over 100 people were killed by more than 25 IEDs.. and guess what? The TERRORISTS who touched them off were VERY ANGRY about it. VERY ANGRY that they touched them off in Baghdad instead of YOUR FRONT YARD.

so take your liberal nonsense and go read some history. The war in Iraq is completely justified.

Interesting!

Although I don't know if we should listen to anyone who has actually been over there and has seen it first-hand..... laugh laugh

Ttom posted some interesting reports about the GROWING number of weapons of mass destruction being found in Iraq now. If true, the numbers are fast approaching exactly what was originally stated before we went in.

Ttom... if you read this can you dig out those reports and post them here?

It's important to the topic at hand here... After all, where does this Impeachment argument stand if it proves to be true? What happens when it's proven that Bush did not lie????? And that the evidence that the DEMOCRATS and REPUBICANS voted on turns out to be true????

confused confused confused

and yeah.. Clinton was handed Bin Laden on a silver platter numerous times and did nothing. ..but hey that's just Liberals for ya..

The difference between a "conservative" and a POLITICAL conservative is simple.

I don't wear a suit. I don't go to church.. I believe in TRADITION, but I don't give a crap what people do with their own lives.. I'm very liberal-minded.. but I'm NOT a political liberal. I'm a political CONSERVATIVE, because I want the government to STAY OUT OF MY LIFE. Like on the side of cop cars.. "protect and serve" ...get it? I served in the military, I went to a little country full of idiots and did what I was told... ..but I'm not about to go and tell other people how to live or spend their money.. ..and I don't need/want anyone to pay for my mistakes or my bills. ..I'll take help when it's OFFERED.. but I don't go asking.

Liberals, on the other hand, think it's the government's job to take care of everything.. so everything is simple and handed to them. Why don't you people get a hobby or something? Go get a job doing something you enjoy maybe? laugh

see imagine there's a party.. a bunch of people are there, and a liberal and one of the guests gets into an argument. The liberal will quickly turn to personal insults, and the second the other guest makes an insulting comeback, 9 times out of 10, the liberal will insist that the guest is kicked out of the party. He/She will probably find the party host and make a big stink about it until the guest is removed from the party. Then when the guest is gone, the liberal will go right back to acting stupid and like he/she is the life of the party.. ...and eventually.. even some of the other liberals are tired of hearing the BS anymore. Meanwhile.. the guest has talked calmly with the party host and is back in the party again, having a good time, and doing what they were doing before.. This time however.. the guest gets into an argument with a CONSERVATIVE guest.. they argue fact after fact after fact, and some more facts and more facts.. ..and then someone makes a comment that's a little bit personally insulting.. and the conservative realizes it's a joke and makes one back.. everyone has a laugh about it, but the one who makes the best joke is going to be more respected for their sense of humor. After more discussion, the funny one isn't as respected on knowledge as much as the other.. ..however there's still a sense of mutual respect. They don't agree on everything.. but the things they do, something is actually done about it.

so when they come back from the store with BEER.. ..not a particular specified brand, but BEER.. ..and COLD beer at that.....

..the liberals bitch and whine because they got Bud Light instead of Rolling Rock.

...but they finally shut up and drank it anyway because they came there to get trashed and honestly didn't give a crap about anyone else at the party but themselves.

and that's the difference between liberals and conservatives. dancing

yeah.. but it's 2008 and I left the military in 1993.. so I'm not as much a "military man" as those who've been in, and are in now.. Not to say I don't have some experience.. but it's been 15 years and a LOT has changed.

I can tell you this.. ..it's not about the money.. ..some of that stuff is REALLY fun.. like it or not, blowing stuff up is cool to some people.
