oil is a huge problem and we do drastically need to come up with a better solution for the simple fact that this war has shown us. They have too much control over over us! Our Government knew exactly what was going to happen with the oil supply!!! theres your wake up call!!!! If you would care to remember. just before this war started we had a few ships of oil sent here from Russia to test the pricing and effects.

What little we really care to remember.

It is a matter of money. The common people need to make use of things here to reduce the money controlling by the money people. Home gardens, solar, conservation.....etc.......it is a money shell game. We are the suckers and they have control of the pea. The sheals are the media and the city gets a cut.

I worked for a company in South Texas, which shall go nameless, building CBTs (Computer Based Training) for Bay LTD. Bay LTD. is the largest manufacturer of offshore oil rigs in the world. During the course of a presentation, I overheard a conversation about the Strategic National Reserve. If the SNR was refined to gasoline, and gasoline only, (there are a lot more uses for oil than gasoline....) we could drive all day and all night in cars with V8 motors that get lousy mileage for the next *300 YEARS*. In addition to this tidbit of knowledge, we've tapped about 14% of the world's oil "stockpile". ...it's out there, albeit hard to reach, but considering the technology that Bay LTD. was implementing back in 2000, and the way technology grows.. I wouldn't say it's out of reach.

This reminds me of a story I heard about a friend of a friend who bought a cadillac. They filled it up with gas, drove around all day and night, the next day drove some more and finally called the dealership because "something has to be wrong with this fuel gauge.. we've driven 250 miles and it's barely moved..." 1 hour later they showed up at his house with another Cadillac.. same model, but a completely different carbuerator and fuel system. "Yeah sorry.. you weren't supposed to get THAT one"

it got an estimated 150mpg..

You are wrong,Leo. There are still fields of oil that were preserved. Come countries(like States) prefer to keep it preserved. In a Fish bank (200 miles zone) there a huge field of oil. The only question is how to get it and not to destroy or harm the biggest Fish bank in The World.

Only 20% of Water bodies of Earth have been explored by now.

Russia Tundra and Siberia region(which is even bigger then Rain Forest zone) have not seen any human yet. Totally unexplored. I may go on an on.

Nonsense....I did my research under the radar....it's about control in the name of profit. That is the manipulation and lie...that we are running out of oil...this has been out there for 30 years now. Funny how new oil fields magically pop up at specific times....

However, the time has come to end this dependency on oil. It will be no easy battle....

If the powers-that-be keeps us fighting among ourselves long enough about which side we are on, we won't notice the next scam they are perpetrating until we are fed the next topic to fight about.
