No different than helmet laws, searbelt laws, Canadian gun registry laws, etc.
When are they going to go after the rights of vegetarians.
I do not care for militant minded people regarding anything.... in your face etc because you dare to disagree with their beliefs.
Vegan where I worked... was relentless and in everyone's face if they ate any thing dairy, or meat... when we had pot lucks, most of us brought something to respect his dietary choice, but he would not touch even the fresh veggies because meat eating killers touched it.
He did call me the C word when I mentioned he pokes the eyes out of potatoes, skins carrots, rips those veggies from their homes.... boils them in water or Oil....chops them up..... They were live living things before they were ripped from their homes.
My son got a bike from his grandparents, and when I suggested he not get a helmut, my mother said he was legal age and did not have to get one according to the law.... next day he got hit by a van.... common sense is to wear one, but your choice not to.
Children born to drugs and alcohol... parents are charged with abuse... they get help, and not many of them stay clean.... but the child suffers, has behavior and physical problems, they had no choice in the matter.
Getting in some one's face will just tick them off.... and in some cases lead to violence...
If you choose to smoke, that is your choice.... I choose not to. All I ask, is you do not blow your smoke in my face..... and I will not stand in your space and get in your face for smoking. It's called respect.
If you stand in the rain, and complain you're getting wet..... common sense would say...,. get out of the rain. If you refuse to get out of the rain........ shut up!
