The third one from the end is my favourite but it came out too small to see the detail - its full of fairies wave

Great pics!!!

Unfortunatley the sun turns today, and days start going shorter...crying

The length of the day here today is actually almost 19 hours...

Where as up north they're enjoying the midnight sun...

I'm really sorry about Stonehendge... I meant for it to be winter solstice when the sun passes thru the arch; but, you know how those darn pagans get things all backwards... and the pyramids are all upside down .. D'oh!

Nice Trish......

Flower and I had an extraordinary night. Invited to a solstice celebration on the mountain at the house of some friends. They are both experts on Mayan culture (internationally respected authors and lecturers)

Firstly we were all "smudged" with incense by having the smoke wafted over us with an eagle feather, then we walked down 13 steps to a medicine wheel which is constructed on their land, accompanied by shamanic drum and flute.

After a short ceremony to celebrate the solstice (one of many which occurred ALL AROUND THE GLOBE last night) I played the gongs and tibetan bowls, the sounds passing through the circle and the people therein.

At the end of the ceremony the moon rose over the Mediterranean sea....................................

A night to remember
