Actually, I would have to disagree. It was when he was caught in that lie that he said "at the time, I didn't look at is as sex" (or words to that affect) I'm sure if he had caught Hillary in a similar situation he would consider it sex. The whole thing just showed his disregard for the public and was an insult to our intelligence.

I would have respected the guy if he had said nothing from the start and settled it between himself, Hillary and Monica. Or better yet, he could have told the press to piss off. Heck, even I would have respected him for that.

Exactly. My problem is mostly based on THE LIE to us. He stood there as the President of the United States and stared into the camera and deliberately lied to us. That it speaks volumes about his character and integrity. The fact that he was screwing around on his wife, with a subordinate, in the oval office and on our time, is just secondary.

Of course, I'm a little ticked that he's wasting time chasing interns when he should have been DOING HIS JOB. Perhaps he taken more time listening to his advisors about why they should take bin laden out while they could. Think of how many American lives he could have saved? Would it have made any difference? I don't know. But we put him in that office to WORK not carry on a prolonged affair with one of his interns.

Of course, that's just my humble opinion, but at least my opinion is based on proven facts and not supposition and heresay.

I think we're still allowed to have differernt opinions, aren't we??
