I think I tend more towards country. Over the years I've been scaling down my city sizes...lol From San Diego to Antioch (as long as I didn't go out into the surrounding area)...now to Redding. We have about 90,000 people here, but we're pretty spread out. I'd love it if my house was "out there" more with the river in the back yard & the neighbors a little further away than they are right now. But at least I can open up the gate out back and sit & gaze at the mountains & watch the lightning storms (that's what I did yesterday).

I live in Oregon, so I like the fact that I can be both. 15 minutes out of Metro and I'm in wilderness.

I love the NW! grin

I'm a country girl! Born here raised here and will stay if I have the choice! Though I love to travel and learn about others cultures and the culture of my family! Been to Toronto where there was a 4 lane highway outside my aunts front door and you had this little patch of land in the back where you could see everyone's back doors. I loved it only for the experience... cement under my feet all the time can't take that! I have to be able to feel the dirt under my feet! Been to the one of the ghetto parts of Dallas! Now the ghetto by Fair Park but one where there is police all the time and I seen people getting arrested almost everytime I left my aunts and uncle's place. I have also been to the nicer part of Dallas in Garland and thats a bit more peaceful. To everyone their own. I like to be able to walk down my road barefoot, in my pjs. Love to sit on the porch wrapped in a blanket in winter and look at the stars. In the summer I love to sit out and watch lighting bugs!

Two basic things you need to know about me. 1. Not a morning person. 2. Country gal.

Everything else is negotiable.

Born and raised on a farm, and still living on a farm and loving it. I like the fact that if I want to horse back ride, just catch horse, saddle up and ride. Quading, snowmobiling, hiking, all available just outside my house.
Cities as others have said look better in the rear view mirror.
And I don't have to lock my door to the house. And I can leave the keys in the ignition of my trucks.

Hi Claire

I'm more of a city person but i guess it depends what type of person you are and where you were brought up. I like escaping to the country occasionally because the city does my head in sometimes and its nice to go somewhere quiet and peaceful but i think there is more to in the city and i get bored easily

Having lived in the country for years, I'm a city person. Currently a ******* fruitcake. I've tried it, gone mad and I really need a city to be sane.
