crimes that infringe upon others rights and property. ie. stealing should be one lash per replacement dollar. CEO's that raid pention funds.... god help them, because they will end up with a death penelty with millions of lashes, well, unless it is limited to 10 lashes a day and imprisionment until all the lashes are carried out. head banger

The new law in Cali against driving while talking on a handheld cell phone goes into effect next week. Rather than a $20 ticket, I think a good whipping would work. smoking

does this mean Califorians will get a bill for having to build areas to pull over so people can talk on their cell phones? What next, banning passengers?

I see your point, but as a motorcyclist, I'm selfish. I resent the thought that I could be hurt or killed because someone has to talk about Friday's party. handshake

As a fellow motorcyclist, I understand your point, but that is a risk that I am willing to take to ride. If I didn't think it was, I would be driving my SUV everwhere I want to go. I found a guy on the side of the highway a couple years ago in Indiana who had hit a deer on his bike. It's just one of those risks.

Hey Gilly man! What's new with film school? Any sweet girls yearning for your attention lately?

Hi Rwantin and Zeelander, my Bro and I are streetbike riders here in the "rushed, tailgating, distacted-on-their-way-to-the-next-REALLY-important-place", Seattle area. Risky that, yes.

About the deer impact, he bought us these inaudible-to-humans little air horns that you mount on the front of your bike, about the size of a finger. Supposed to save a deer AND a rider from THAT risk. The deer hears you and moves.

About flogging, YES!! For minor crimes involving basic disrespect. Guess that public "caning" works well in parts of the world, a real ego-shrinker.

But way too minor a punishment for greedy-pension-fund-robbing-CEOs and the boards that back them.

Hello Gilly!!wave

To answer your question NO!!!! I consider flogging to be a "cruel and unusual" punishment, also a form of torture. I would like to believe "we" are more civilized than that.

When I first got here some five years ago, I thought it was illegal to drive without a cell phone stuck to your ear. Understood on the risk, and hey, it's worth it.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Hello Gilly! wave
