Someimes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe your idea of good looking is someone else's idea of homely. Or, maybe the photo was taken in a flattering light.

Thanks....but you used the word I was looking for. Intimidated!!! This is why I will never approach a woman. I feel inferior and could not see a reason that a nice looking woman would possibly want to be seen with me.

Yet,I see some gorgeous women with some really gross looking guys with huge beer bellies and looking unkept and dirty.

Hell, I go to one red neck bar. everyone is more gross than the other, (but they have karaoke 7 nights a week) and I even feel intimidated in there.

That's why I am glad I have you guys......I can talk to you, and I know we;ll never meet!!

i think most people- unless they ARE Angelina jolie, find it very hard to assess their own looks. few of us would think - 'god i look great', and self confidence is not always an easy thing to come by.
also, as many have said already- probably a lot of those 'hotties' you are looking at, don't have the opportunity to get out and met guys.

il state my reason for being on c.s ,last year after getting out of a messy relationship i happened to come across this place and decided to join ,at that time i wasn't looking for a soul now its different as iv learned to love myself again and im also ready to love someone else .

and for once in my bloody life i would like to be the one choosing my mate not him choosing me im fed up with being lumped with an eejit and just this once would like to meet someone who will love me as much as they do themselves there is only so many suicide threats i can take in one lifetime

I thought it would be interesting to find out what people actually thought of my photo by having it rated. I would have been knocked over if anyone would have ever thought of me as being a 10, but on the other side being thought of as a 2 would have not bothered me, because it is just an opinion. I really don't care if I score low, because I try to be the best person I can be and treat other with respect.

According to my chart, one group rates my picture really high.... to those people I thank you, but then the next group rates my picture low. On down or up the chart I go up then again down... I am starting to feel like the stock market.

Either way, I am improving myself every day and no one can take that away from me...... Now if I could just find a date...
