I agree with Rasgumby..... a bit near the knuckle sometimes but talked a lot of sense, interjected with great humour.

I just signed on the puter and this was the first thing I saw in the news. He was hilariously funny, I'll miss him. Very few celebs make me feel that way when I hear of their deaths, like it's a personal loss, but this one did.

Carlin was one of the top 3 comedians of all time. Unfortunately most people associate him with dirty humor ( 7 dirty words & such) , when in fact he was a genius with thought provoking ideas & social commentaries. Created more comedy material/sets of new stuff than any other comedian. Most hone 1 or 2 sets & make a career off that, not Carlin!! The world is worse off with him gone.
