Hmmmph. Was in a relationship with a woman who was (probably still is) 4'10", and a woman that was (probably still is) about my height 6'1". Giving this matter a careful analysis, I suppose it does not matter much to me. dancing

No more silly than any other esthetic critera - for example, preferences for dark hair, a certain facial structure, general physique, etc., etc. I've never known anyone who didn't have *some* form of physical requirements when selecting a mate. Would you date a guy who was 4' 5"? (Maybe you would, but it's certain that you would exclude some based on some aspect of their looks, no?)

"I dunno i think short guys to me are more like lil pip squeaks"

Not by any means the worst that has been said.
The point I was making though was, if i were
to make derrogatory comments about, well lets
say it, fat people, all hell would break loose.

Mind you some might say being described as a
lil pip squeak as a term of endearment.
Others might disagree.

thumbs up Didn't mean to pick on you, Twinkles. I just find it strange how people are often quick to condemn others' esthetic judgments while favoring their own (which are almost always biased by their own physical traits - for example, an overweight individual calling someone who prefers slim people slim shallow)

Right, Bodleing, I got that point and thought it was a good one. Her editorializing about "pip squeaks" was a bit bald (I've known plenty of short people who were stronger than hell, so I'm not sure why that general assumption would be made...hell, Joe Frasier was only 5' 10" and bodybuilder/power lifter Franco Columbo was around 5'6"!) - however, several women here have written things like: "A taller man makes me feel safer," so it seems like a fairly common - if misconceived - sentiment here.

Hell, it doesn't matter to much to me. I'm 5'10 and I perfer someone who is 5'4 - 5'8 but if they COMMON SENSE and a great sense of humor, I'd date someone a few inches shorter or taller that.cheers

No, if they were much shorter than you, not so
much a term of endearment, more an accurate
description.
