OK when one takes the step of becoming a Christian one of the hardest aspects of this is sex and dating, like for example what would be considered going too far... any advise??

Hell, the current pope was a Nazi after all.

Catholic Church forbid their believers to use the condoms. So it is very dangerous and could make problems when you decided to have sex (especially without marriage ).
Their should change their thinking.

I notice you are in Ireland, don't know if it has any bearing with it or not but do you mean a Christian or a Catholic?

I might be wrong but I don't think it means the same as there are many religions based on the Christian faith ... I think confused

Hello;
It's hard to be a christian, and especially single. Are you a christian? I think that personally we have it harder than others. We stick to what we think is right, our values and morales. If others cannot respect that, that's okay. I have a right to what i believe. I sometimes think that it's harder for christians than it used to be.

I would talk with someone I respect. You won't get a substantive answer on here, obviously.

I think that question is up to the individual, and what their morales, beliefs and values determinds what feels right.

I think that it is very tough in todays society to find partners with traditional values, similiar religious beliefs and being compatible in terms of sex, love and life.

Although I'm not christan, (actually roman catholic, non practising) I'd say that it would be a very difficult situation between following your heart and your commitment to the faith.

I'd probably follow my heart.

cheers
