People on here only seem to reply to certain members threads / comments??? Is it jus me who thinks this??? It used to be very different here a few months ago but since I have come back I have noticed this happening more and more.

I for one dont bother to post as much as each time I try it is mostly ignored....and people carry on with the disscussion and / or their own little private chats.

I am not meaning to come accross bitchy or anything, I am just merely stating how I think others who are new at posting may feel also.

grin

Hi Minimoo! Yeah, I know what you mean, but don't let it bother you. I think a lot of the people here have become good friends and have been on for awhile. Post your thoughts/ideas. You'll end up getting responses sooner or later!

Hi Minimoo--

Rosie and I were saying the same thing the other day. It has changed on here and not for the good. I don't post as much any longer either as I feel ignored too.

LOL guess things move on.

I sure wish I could attend the party in Dublin next week. You are going to have a fantastic turnout!!

I just post right over the chit chat. Doesn't really bother me.

Sometimes some of the private chats are actually funny.

True, but some have been here longer and so it is strange that people pass over what some say to concentrate on their friends.

I have also found that people preach to you and accuse you of things now. LOL it is not as much fun as it was a year ago.

help dunno conversing

I really think you're subconscoiusly trying to feel at home again and make every newbie recognize your OLD post!

When you are at a bar with lots of friends together, at dinner home, any gathering of your friends, who you love equally, do you really reply to all what they say? Is it that bad to reply to some? In your time everybody used to reply to every post? Come on young lady, welcome back!

PS: we cook and clean the house while online!blah blah blah

What do you want from me? frustrated frustrated frustrated

Oh, wait. I'm taking this thread personal.

As, maybe, perhaps, you're taking this situation.

I post to what interests me. I try to spread it out among the threads, but I can only type so fast, so, MAYBE, I end up posting in response to a certain group who are posting all the time.

Cant help who's posting and who's just lurking...D'oh! sigh

I think there are plenty of proper discussions here...and plenty of threads just to have laughs. Depends on how you define "proper".....the flow is in motion....and it changes by the day....laugh

Nice to meet you minimoo....wave I'm the weird one here, along with a few others....so we talk about those weird or paranormal things...and it's up to anybody to join in or just stay out...

bouquet of flowers True sweetie, but sometimes, people pass over those they don't know or want to know and respond to someone who posted after... it feels rude and not very nice...

I agree.. I kind of do that.. I stay away from the stuff im not really interested in.. (like politics and religion and a few other things).. and I DO try to welcome newbies. I know it's hard sometimes to get a word in if a few people are already yapping.

But I do think its the same as anywhere in RL..

If you walked into a bar and there are a load of locals sat around talking.. at first you ARE the outsider.. (its just how it is).. they may all say *Hi*... but it takes a while to get into the groove of what's being said .. and to feel comfortable enuff to join in.. eventually.. you too become one of the locals.

We were ALL newbies once.
