My son is a very fussy eater but eats alot of pasta and fish.........but wont eat veggies!

But I find that he is eating the same meals every week ...so anyone know any good easy enough meals I can make for him??

All suggestions welcome and appreciated!

My 8-year-old son doesn't like veggies either. He loves Odwalla Superfood Micronutrient Fruit Juice, so I let him drink his "greens." Sometimes I add carrot juice to it. Also, I sneak parsley into everything (hamburgers, pasta, soup, potatoes, etc.)

Does he eat fruit? You could cut up fresh fruit and veggies. My daughter developed a fondness for raw broccoli and cauliflower, she eats everything raw. When she was 3, I just cut up stuff and let her pick. She was over baby-food (made from scratch). Finger-foods were all fruits and veggies, raw.

Just give him raw stuff. He'll feed himself and you can figure it out. In the interim, he's eating healthy. By the time he's a teen, he'll still eat fruits, veggies and less junk.

Sure.. same as my folks did.
tell him to eat what is put on the table or go hungry,
He gets hungry enough he will eat.

is how I was taught and my kids as well, and we all turned out fine.

Yeah, I remember those days....the last one sitting at the table....everyone else done eating....my dad sitting there staring at me.....me crying so much I couldn't swallow......yep....great strategy.

To this day I'm not a big veggie eater....canned peas...canned green beans....frozen corn (or fresh corn on the cob)...and romaine lettuce are about it for me. I do get tomatos by way of tomato sauce when I make spaghetti.

With my boys I didn't force them to eat something they didn't like. However they did have to try it first. I didn't really worry about if they got stuck on one thing when they were younger....just as long as they were eating & developing. So I wouldn't really worry about it, maybe occasionally try to introduce something new, but I know for a 3 year old the fish is probably a whole lot easier to chew than chicken or beef.

My 2 year old grandaughter will eat virtually anything if she can have ranch dressing or catsup with it.

So they stick a splatter of either on her plate. dunno
