I'm tired!

Posted: Jun 24, 2008, 9:33 PM CST
I am tired and sick. I'm sorry for rash words of late. And no I am not looking for attention or the like. I have not had anything good in my life for a quite a while and I am drained. I leave you with these words.

"Don't care too much about others, they will take all you are and curse you for not having more as you fall."

Sorry to hear you are not doing so well. It is better to be balanced, as we all know too much of anything can be harmful, either to you or others.

Len, I'm glad to see that you're taking some time for yourself ............ I was wondering what was up with you as you didn't seem to be yourself lately. Think we all go through times when life is a drain on us emotionally and physically but its important to know when to set boundaries. To preserve our inner beings is to take care of ourselves first so that we can care about others - without letting ourselves get taken advantage of.

I encourage you to reach out and express yourself - sometimes it helps to vent and just release the frustration and emotions that we are holding deep inside.

I've gotten the impression that you give and give ....... don't forget to give to yourself. I was listening to a program in which the subject of giving to others came up. Give the same amount of energy, resources, time that you give to others to yourself. How often do many of us do this? Seems always so much easier to give to others and selfish to give to ourselves ............... if we don't give to ourselves our well will eventually run dry.

I think when we are feeling emotionally drained and down in the dumps with real life stuff that it's a good idea to take some time out from the forums. Then we can concentrate on healing ourselves both emotionally and physically in preparation for us to tackle real life issues boxing and also face round 120 boxing or whichever round it is we're on in the forums professor

I hope you feel better and come back when you feel up to it as you make me laugh and come across as a genuinely nice person bouquet of flowers
