Death in dreams supposedly means a transition in life on some level.....so say the dream experts, but I have had those dreams during times of transition in my life..just saying kid....

Interesting. How old was your son when her learned to swim? How old was he when he survived this river incident?

He is 8. It was THAT river.

I base my belief in the connection between the dreams and the event on:
*We did not live anywhere near THAT river at the time of the dreams.
*In each dream, there was a round green object on the river bank, but I could never figure out exactly what it was. When I visited the site of the drownings, the same green object was placed exactly as in my dreams. It was the heavy metal top to a park waste container that someone had removed.

Of course, all dreams are subjective. Good luck trying to convince me that the nightmares that prompted my obsession with my son becoming a skilled swimmer are unrelated to him being alive and well today.

Cool. I do have to say I can only speak from what I experienced and observed. I should add that warning dreams are possible as to stopping an event like the day before. I have not heard too many stories about it in real life or head some testimony. So I am skeptical about it, but open to it.

I was just looking at lktolbert's dream experience. I don't have enough info to make a strong assessment or confirmation. It could have just been coincidence of that incident in the river. Unless the river in her dreams was the exact river of said incident. But she did not mention that. I am not discrediting her, but just pointing out the nature of random coincidence that we humans like to align with our ideas, opinions, and dreams.

Drowning dreams are very common. I have had a lot of dreams of my daughter drowning. It could have just meant that I was worried about her future unconsciously more than I was aware consciously. Water supposedly symbolizes emotions and our unconscious. Maybe my daughter was a symbol for something else in the dream?

I don't know about you but my precognitive dreams have specific look and feel to them... and for me they aren't always your typical movie style dream... a lot of times they are a series of pictures instead.

So I guess my question to you is did it feel like a precog dream or did it feel like a normal dream? if it felt like a precog dream then my suggestion is don't over analyze it. if itfelt like a regular dream... my interpretation would be maybe you feel in over your head with her dunno

wasn't there a thread on here about analyzing dreams maybe you should ask her

applause Hi StressFree,
You're right...The dream that happened the next day, was indeed with my mother ! I dreamed that she was in the hospital. Supposedly from my granny that was also in the dream, said my mom was dead.. I looked , and no sheets was over my mom's head. So, still in the dream, I told my granny that. Next day my mother was delivered to the hospital an emergency. She almost died. 6 years before my mom past away, I dreamed with her again. But in this dream, I did not see her again, just he heard her voice calling me and my sister.

If you know more... Please tell me...
Thanks.

Hi there Iktolbertwine

I believe you! I just needed that piece of info about the river! Interesting and fascinating. You should feel blessed that you received this dream from some source that I am not even going to venture to guess cause then this post would take forever....

The precognitive dream felt more real than my awake life in some way. A much more different feel to it. I am sure you know what I am talking about. There are also other powerful dreams I have that have that distinct feel, like I am more alive or someplace that I just cannot describe with words. Some could be warning dreams or just some kind of message coming from my unconscious....but those dreams are hard to remember and happen in phases.

With her? No clue what you are talking about.

That's all I got for now...I just have this weird feeling that splinter's of our loved souls can deliver messages to us about future events or maybe we just get there some way to see something? I am still searching and trying to develop my own theory with everything that is out there for me to analyze.....

I should add It could have been an alternate universe that you visited in your dream. I just believe in alternate universes and that there are an infinite amount of our selves living in these universes that you can visit during dreams on the astral and etheric planes.

Yes, very vivid and specific but the events happened years after the dreams. The dreams weren't about anything huge or dramatic but the exeprience was bizarre and unnerving all the same.confused

I had a dream on a saturday night that my husband died in a motorcycle chase. It really shook me up. The next day he called me and told me about his dream (it was nearly exact to mine, just a few details different). He took the dream really hard. Started crying and saying goodbye, saying "sorry for being such a screw up". Told me he loved me and was proud of me. We had a long talk about what went wrong in our marriage and a long talk about our son. He acted as if he was really going to die. He was scaring me!!

2 days later, July 17th 2007, he was killed in a motorcycle chase...

I will never forget that dream, the footage of his death was on a police dashboard camera, it was just like my dream. I thank him every day for making that call and saying goodbye.

I have to post on this! No one is going to belive this, But you can ask Healthyliving I told her about this last week!

I had a dream when I was 16, it was a great dream not giving details. But it was one of those dreams that are so real. It took months to comletely forget about it. then I had another dream about 3 years later with the same guy, only he was a little older. I have been dreaming about this guy about evry 3 years and it is always one of those dreams you can't get out of your head.
Well I have been talking to a guy here on CS for a few months, and never really thought about the dream. I had the dream again about a week ago same guy! Then the guy I have been talking to sent me pictures and I could have craped right there in my chair he is the same guy I have dreaming about since I was 16.
