I personally made 5 freinds on here,1 was n forums. They left because they felt, well okay
1didn't think any of the men were serious
2nd left because he got fed up with argueing in threads
3rd same reason and she only read never replied in threads for fear of being picked on
4th and 5th thinks that some of the threads are rated xxx and they are oppossed to those threads.
Okay they all left recently so there are some who are gone by choice.I won't say I agree with their reasons other than argueing,so petty.
Isn't it a pleasure when someone starts a positive thread and everyone gets along or politley disagrees? It does happen now and then on here.Lately alot of new names and faces.

I still enjoy the threads and think we have great, caring people on here. The threads I don't like I stay out of.If someone is trying to bait me in an arguement,I leave the thread. Can't we all do this?bouquet of flowers peace dancing banana cheering

dunno

Nope i am afraid not...if i have an opinion i will give it..Whether others agree or not...

Even if i dont like the thread but i am certain i will reply to it...

But its up to the person who disagrees to be nice about it..

That i will do..state what i will say nicely and then go about my business...

That i will do

in my opinion the majority of american people on here are lovely and nice when you talk to them direct however i think people keep putting up threads that are to controversial and that is when the arguing begins because people have such extreme views which is perfectly fine but when expressed on a thread with people of opposing views it seems to end up in wars!!
but well said we should be nice to each other!

Its a shame, I know. Some feel they have to stand their ground and state their case..... and I can understand that. But as well as knowing one's capabilities, one has to be aware of one's limitations. If you can hold your own.... fair enough, but then it becomes a battle.

I wouldn't continue a dialogue with someone who either was so rigid they weren't EVER gonna budge (and I don't mean courage of their convictions, that's admirable - I mean stubborness and rigidity - there's a difference) or who was really out of their depth (as in just not bright enough and didn't have the full facts - moreover was happy having a debate happily without the facts)..... duuhhh, dunno??

So, yes..... I just sever the communication when I really can't warrant further dialogue, I usually have something else more productive (and often, more entertaining) to do, like de-scaling the kettle!!
rolling on the floor laughing

But people shouldn't feel put off, it is a Fourm for EVERYONE.... equally!!

Good thread!! thumbs up
