I like it but most men don't practice it anymore. Specially in the U.S. just like they don't believe in love or romance anymore.kiss

Well would opening a door for a woman not seem respectful to you?

some women like it

and it is a pleasure to open door forthem
or pulling chairs
ot just to offer to carry their bags

others do not like it, and some of them are really rude, to such a point that when you hold the door open at a convienten store, they just say
"i dont need it"

I don't open doors for women!! Unless they have a broken arm, but I would open a door for a man with a broken arm!!

I have said this on many occasions. I treat women EQUALLY with men. They asked for equality, and that is what I give!!

Don't try to take my job from me then expect me to give you my seat on the bus!!

Sorry,,,but with equality comes responsibility!!

Maybe its a cultural difference, but if i saw a women on a bus with lots of bags, i give her the seat, i open doors (not because i have to, I want to) and if a girl is down to earth person she appreciates it.

(thats how i met my first girlfriend)

I love a chivalrous man. I'm a southern American, from the land of Tara, so I'm used to chivalry and I'm embarrassed to say that I'm still surprised when a man doesn't do things like hold the door for me.
