I have a set with front and back door, garage door and my mother's spare house key. My car keys are separate, of course, and I always keep my keys in my pocket, never in my handbag.... for all the obvious reasons!!

At home I have three, front door back door and car.
At work like 24 keys, unless I am working both floors then 48 plus my badge.

You don't have to count the actual number, although you can if you want.
I have 3 groups they don't always get usage daily.
For instance Car/House...The others stay behind but not always.

1 key for my car and also a remote opener;

1 key for my apartment door, another for downstairs entry, another for storage/library, another for my storage unit, and another for mailbox (yes I live in a dungeon like atmosphere - need a key to go anyway in our building)

1 key for work;

also have nail clippers;

a fold up pair of scissors which I've had since I was about 12 years old that I got when I went to China town with my aunt;

and finally a key chain that has a quarter and a loonie that are detachable that you can insert into the shopping carts (very cool and useful)

............. one thought that also came to my mind when posting this is that when I was in the Toyota dealership they advised to make sure that I didn't have too many keys, etc. as it can damage the ignition simply from the weight.

12, not including the one in my wallet.

2-House Keys, one in wallet.
2-keys to the truck, I keep one on the carabineer at all times.
1-Dad's car
1-Brother's car
1-Shed padlock
1-Tool Box

...And to be honest, I'm not sure what the rest are for.
