We're all a little bit jeckle and hyde.

Or the book would not have been written...

I'm amazed at the number of people who expect perfection in their mates...I don't expect perfection, just a pulse...

I'm not looking for perfection...confused Just looking for the qualities that are important to me.... So I asked the question...

My advice. Don't listen to what he says as much as watch what he does. Actions speak louder than words.

I can come off as a REAL A-hole in real life, but that's to keep the mud-puddles away. If you're paying attention, the fact that I'm always there when you need a hand, and you're always getting little trinkets from me (like poems, hand-picked flowers etc. I'm not a rich man, but I have massive treasures of the heart) should indicate I'm actually a really nice guy.

Plus, watch the way he treats kids. If he's genuinely interested, he will take an ACTIVE interest in their welfare, not just patronize them to get in good with you...
