On my grandmothers death an abundance of her writings were found, in old shoe boxes, on slips of paper on yellowed old note books.. I am absolutely bowled over and feel a compulsion to share.. there is far too much to write so I am just going to share a piece for now... I have only learned since her death that she used to be awakened at night with these inspirations...

"Praise you O Lord, give me a greater faith to believe...

A conquering the self a greater conquering I need from you, for it follows when you enter into my Discipleship, your dying to self must be an ongoing aim. Take my hands my wounded hand in yours and feel my strength coming through to show with you, your daily burdens. Only through the power of my divine strength in you can all things be accomplished. all who seek to live in my spirit filled life must become as one who seeks heaven as their goal and must come with me to that place where every sorrow becomes an act of faith raised up in love and acceptance to me. accept all in the knowledge that I am preparing you for the greatest honour of all, that of eternal life with me.. for all eternity. go in peace and let my joy be yours..

You Grandmother must habe been a special lady

I knew she was a 'lovely' lady, but my goodness.. this is a completely undiscoverd and surprising aspect to her... It is 1:30 am in the morning and I cant put her note book down.. amazing.. whats particularly wierd is that some of the writings are written as prayers, but SOME are written like as if someone was speaking to her... strange.. but really inspiring....

Think not on the daily trials and sorrow in your lives, rather be glad for through each of them.. each one.. you are both drawn a little closer to me and to my working in your lives. Behold the joy of the miracles of love which emerge through every trial and learn from me through each act of love, that I hear every cry to me. The seemingly unanswered prayers and praise are heard by me in a way not of your choosing but of mine in my infinate love and wisdom. Had your prayers been answered immediately how great the loss of God and to yourselves of the years of praise being guided in love to my beloved Father.. for through those prayers the power the divine power has so many others though reaching out in an ever widening (something...illegible) of Christ . Love entering into the minds and hearts of others... and even though you both may never see that person or persons who were touched... My spirit of love can redeem them. No prayer or praise is ever lost, remember that and know that through your prayer my power is working in marvellous ways, guiding my loved ones back to me their God, for spiritual healing rejoice in knowing that my joy is even greater that yours when a soul who was once lost is returned to me in love.. through you... my channels of love...

As your faith in me becomes greater my love in you becomes ever more powerful until you draw all strength from me.. daily and in every fear and sorrow feel the balm of my healing love.. entering into you and sustaining you as you await each tomorrow. I await your daily love and dependance on me... your divine protection, your rescuer (illegible) redeemer, your saviour. Know that you and all your love ones are safe in my keeping. Think much on my divine presence within you as a living, caring God and accept all things in your daily living as my will for you, knowing each thing you do, each person you meet each trouble revealed to you is my guidance for you in reaching out to all with my love within you.... radiating to all who need me.. Praise God for the wonder of his love for all his children..."

"Help us O Lord in our daily needs.. praise you.....

Walk the way of the cross with me and share my sorrow. Search your hearts and feel my pain my despair in conquering death, to restore life, that life eternal for you. However great the sorrow may be.. it can be conquered by love and the dying to self. Open your heart to me and let me make my home in you. Give in love and it will be given you. How great the love of those who humble themselves before the Lord, how spiritually rich the divine gain bestowed by Christ on those who die to selves for love of me. How great the divine power given to those who accept the little daily trials and scars inflicted on them by others when raised up to me in repentance for the scars the wounds inflicted on me by those my torturers on that path to Calvery. Let me strengthen in you, my divine discipline which I seek from you my disciples for to embrace completely the divine example for which you seek, you must subdue and gain full control over the human weakenesses.. Be ye therefore perfect as my father is perfect. This is my divine teaching for you who seek to take up your cross and follow me..."

What human could ever doubt the wonder that is Gods existence as one (something??) into a sky aglow with Gods sunlight. what mind could bury deep the truth that only his majestic power could ever create. the Sun, the Moon, the Stars the vast and endless Universe of so great a magnitude. If all the men of every age couuld tr to comprahend the mystery of all human life and all creation their minds could not extend beyond a time fragment of the mystery that is every aspect of Gods creation. One tiny Star from the multitude of Stars could not be made by a million human hands...."

How could I a God of infinite love forsake a scarred and bruised heart which turns to stone for want of love and understanding.. who can feel more deeply than I the cruelty of mans inhumanity to man, as each act of hate breeds greater hate. But through love, my dying for love of all men, have I conquered death to death of sin, of hate and now behold the risen Christ a hope divine a new dawn the breath of new life re-awakening in man, the Spirit of Love. To cast aside for ever the old embittered heartless ways to behold a life filled with love of God's healing. When all the majesty that is Christ renewed (???)... a world of hardened sinners than all that is evil shall be filled with all that is Christ. For you, all you who have witnessed my miracles of love await my coming with joy knowing all is well, all are safe in my keeping as you give praise to my beloved Father, lord or all creation...."

This is a similar way in which I journal my prayers and I keep them in my computer journaled. Perhaps someday they will also be a blessing to my loved ones because I have also chosen not to share with anyone that I've done this. It's very private and I pour out my inner most prayers to the Lord in my special journal. Jesus listens to our prayers and I believe answers everyone of our prayers even though He may not answer them in the way that I would like or expect.
