if you had the means or ability or maybe you already do it.....what charity is close to your heart or what would you do to make the world a better place? as for me, from personal experience i believe in and do all i can for THE MARCH OF DIMES and THE HOSPICE SOCIETY, and if i could i would feed the world so no one would ever be hungry again.

Children's Village and Habitat for Humanity for me ... one of my dreams is to help build a Children's Village and get it running.

I don't believe in charities that don't teach a man to fish.

Throwing good money after bad is not my idea of making the world a better place.

That said, I'm more into donating TIME than I am money.

I'll donate my time to teach third world citizens to build a proper foundation, or to frame a house, or any other of a thousand skills I've learned that they don't have.

You don't improve people's lives by fostering dependence. This is what the USA MUST eventually learn.

But then, we want the third world dependent, don't we? That's what Empire is all about...

Well if i had tons and tons of money.. i would build a hospice to start with.. more for cancer research and i would also like to fund special centres for kids in need or trouble that they can get help and support... and last but not least special centres for parents who need support with children who have special needs... all of these parents should get awards for the work they do and a bit of relief for them would be how i would help them.... teddy bear

I'd donate some money to our local hospice professor

Then I'd have a lovely cat sanctuary built, live there myself and help look after all the neglected or homeless cats uk

Animals, and helping rescuing themfrom horrible conditions.

Have a rotti named Clyde Barrell.
Abused with a two by four.
Fed chicken poop. That was because they liked there liquor and smokes to much.
He was on the brink of going crazy.

He is very aggressive with the outside world now. But he was worth saving.

Unfortunely the people wanted him back and over my dead corpse.
He is still with me, and lovable around me.teddy bear teddy bear teddy bear

Actually I feel the same way... thats why I have chosen the charities that I have... Habitat for humanity requires the families to build their own homes and requires that they put in so many hours on others peoples homes as well.

Children's village is about raising children properly in a healthy, productive environment so that they can grow up capable of contributing to society.
