What is the age range, mostly young?

Never tried it. I think it would be nerve racking.

a few years back there was a event for singles I went to, they had this "speed dating". It was worse than a "bad movie"! they also took your picture and put it on the wall,, if someone was interested they put something in the envelope beneath it...the whole ordeal was a downer for me,,I went in as optimistic, but really would not got to that thing again.,,,oh btw, one woman did put some note in my envelope, only to find out she was "just kidding around" funny thing is, and this is true her daughter had sold me the shirt I was wearing that I had just bought from Nordstrom's! like I was saying...like a "Bad Movie"

I had a female friend back home in OZ that did it once and had alot of fun.

She didn't end up having any luck, but said she enjoyed being able to meet people face to face rather than behind a computer.

Me personally, probably not, I usually put my foot in my mouth usually after one introduction, yet alone 6 or more in the space of a couple of hours!

oh trust me Kitty it wasnt for me either... once and only once and never ever again lol... now am not a difficult person to talk to butone guy never opened his mouth i thought it was me and that i was scary ( as if lol) but it turned out he didnt talk to anyone.. he was terrified... and i cant say i blame him.... my friend was the only successful one and dated the guy for 3 months .. until she founf out he was engaged... i think i have said enough lol...

I have tried it. It's a waste of time. The men automatically reject anyone who isn't White or any woman who is White if she doesn't look like a super model. I have never seen even one Black guy show up and one rarely sees Asian guys there. The events where you spend each course of the meal with a different guy are much better. You have half an hour and sometimes men will get past the superficial and see that you actually have someting in common.
