Thanks Sweetie - so are you too

The points I made were a sort of retrospective analysis and in no way represent the me of now - Im infinitely stronger than I was 10 or so yrs ago - and lovin it

Its brilliant to hear that you have met somebody and I also totally agree with 100% honesty, these thing take some working at dont they

Im actually more content and fulfilled without a relationship but I cant add 'just now' to that cos its been my state of mind for many years now. I dont envisage this going on forever but after having felt some of my most extreme loneliness' when I have actually been in relationships, I have a great reluctance to upset the apple cart and disrupt the peacefulness which I have surrounded myself with - it feels so good to have actually achieved my objectives under my own steam and knowing what a difficult and time consuming task this has been sort of sets me free from the urgency of needing to have a partner.

Of course, theres nothing I would love more than to share my existence with a 'meaningful other' - that would be idyllic but in this one sense I see a corrolation with the Christian ethic of celibacy before union - simply because it keeps the mind uncomplicated......

This isn't a scare, but lack of communication on a ladies part is enough for me to walk away...

I think you're right Daniel, lack of communication can lead to building up resentments which then bubble over into arguments - its when the situation gets to that stalemate area of both parties digging their heels in that the problems can become insurmountable - oh, I dont know any answers.........

It can be difficult to verbalise feelings sometimes too, especially when theres a hundred and one things running through your mind....... dunno

I think that working on relationship issues could be a useful part of the education system....

Eating picked eggs in bed and then wanting a kiss while their face is ful off egg might not be a good idea on a first date.

Women with green teeth and smelling of vinegar with no discernable gaps between their teeth is always a good reason to run quick.laugh

Who bloody wants too? I might have just been trying to find my car keys or house keys after dropping her home before she went for the industrial pickle jar on the bedside table.

Note to self, always make sure wear trousers with pocket space to never have to rely on letting another party carry stuff in a bad for you!!

yeah.. the rest of us in the real world don't spend half their waking hours on websites.

that's why it took me longer to respond.

I, unlike most of you, have better things to do.
