i dont know about a photo, i didnt have one on sites for a while, then i put one up(its a head shot).........now i get emails asking for one that shows my whole self. sometimes you just cant satisfy.

Just sems like without a pic. no one talks.

i know the feeling...........and sometimes with a pic i feel invisable, especiallly here in the forums

years ago when I met my ex. it was online, in a game site, we talked for almost 6 months by email, then some more by phone and beileve it or not neather of us saw a pic of each other before we met in person. it enabled us to get to know each other as the people we were and not baised on what we looked like. that is the true power of the internet if you let it, to connect with someone baised on views, interests, and conversation, not what you look like, to connect on a deeper level and have a more meaningful relationship than just....... wow she looks hot I think I want to date her.

Yes, it never seems to be enough ......... so my thought is, do what I please. Some days I want my photo here and other days I do not. Photos definitely do attract more attention - but it would be nice for guys to actually read the profile as well. Most of the time I just find they are not serious or else half-way around the world.

I've always had a pic up, haven't had any probs. If I get mail from weirdo, I hit delete, no problem. Depends on the attitude, and what you want.

The women here are not the only ones who get weird mail. I get a lots of them too. Do you notice that the weird mail always comes from some distance away? Never close by? I wonder if it is the same few people, setting up fake profiles. Looking for innocent victims for their scams.

Who cares, the delete button works great wherever they are.

Not always true ....... I've had my fair share from the Canada and the U.S. .............. a lot of my mail has been cut down simply from the fact that I've limited my regions for contact.

I have got my share of weird mail from Canada and the U.S. too, but never local. Right now the women from Asia are after me.
