The worst part is if you are not responsive as in totally agree with them you either get attacked or vilified so its by far the best policy to tell them repectfully to go preach their bile (in some cases) somewhere else!

Yeah!! Been at the receiving of some of that a little while back!! Also got told by the person that they were going to pray for the salvation of my soul!!! D'oh!

They were going to pray for you? Omg you certainly found one there for you then, at least they didn't want you burned at the stake!!

People thinking nice thoughts or passing on kind wishes is one thing (i've been a recipient of this recently and it was quite touching) but strangers out of the blue wishing to pray for your obviously misguided soul is a little worrying to me!!

Where where they from (i think it must have been the Bible belt in the states by the sound of it)?

It beats me why anyone contributes to any of these religious threads, especially if they don't like them.

If they do like them, and wish to add something, ok, then those who don't, still don't have to contribute (by saying they don't like it).

Everyone has the option to look at a thread and if the tenor is not to their liking, they can just avoid it.

The thread then runs off the page and the person who posts the rubbish will eventually get the message that religious threads are a no-go.....

Thanks, it's this and watching hundreds of dvds while resting but the urge to do something is terrible.I cant stand being so inactive but as soon as i can i will probably go mad in the shops, any shops to just do something!!

An old buddy contacted me on a well known socialising network website and were arranging to catch up after loosing track of each other when we were say 18!! Needless to say we'll have a lot of catching up to do especially as he was a contestant on who wants to be a millionare and didnt phone me as the friend and consequently got the answer wrong costing him i think £62k!!

He's sick of hearing everyone else knew the answer and i was gutted for him, but i'll still remind him about it next weeklaugh

Wow! You know, it WAS after my journey of "hell" that I turned from (practicing) religion to (embracing) spirituality. What a trip. (lol...literally)

I'd love to go walking about in some mountains for some fresh air and peace and quiet at the moment.Even the urge to get on the mountain bike i own is quite strong but the legs are like jelly at the moment!! As soon as i get a bit of strength in my legs thats the very next thing i will do (a bike ride) and increase my stamina and lung capacity again back to the once fit and healthy person i was.

Right now the urge for a couple of sandwiches is overpowering but the physical effort to get my ass upright and walk the laptop downstairs to get them is a bit daunting!!

Mind you i just had a craving for a corned beef sandwich so it might lure me down to the fridge pretty soon!!laugh

I've eaten 2 bananas with my antibiotics and had swig of orange squash but the pull of tea, sandwiches and maybe even herring and rice is getting stronger by the secondlaugh

Spirtuality, religion and politics. its all similar. Everyone has thier own beliefs and opions and some feel the need to share thier opions with others.
Its all a learning experiance for me, thats how I view it....sharing information..handshake teddy bear teddy bear

applause Good listen to the urge!!! Stamina does not get fed by an empty stomach!!! You don't need to cart your laptop downstairs to eat!!!

Also are you taking vitamins like
- B12 complex + Vit C = promotes energy metabolism & nervous system health.
- Vit D as that gets created by sunlight/sunshine on your body (until you can go out again).
- eating "live yogurt" to rebuild the natural "good bacteria" in your stomach that the antibiotics are zapping along with the stuff they need to zap?
- dancing banana bananas are really good to get your levels of potassiums up. Low potassium also = low energy

hug

Right thats it, i'm grabbing 4 dvds, the laptop and setting up my trough downstairs to eat an indian salad, then sandwiches, then some rice and herring and who knows even the catfood by the time the 4th dvd comes on.

Yoghurt might take me time to eat agin as its all i had to eat for maybe a month not long ago, so im getting used to eating anything that comes out of a cubboard, tin, box or bag!!

Right, that does it the craving for corned beef sandwiches is just too much!! I'll be back soon as soon as ive done my impression of Rosanne Barr at a Ribs joint on an all you can eat special event for $4.99!!

Brb, soon as the trough is prepared ill be able to type again! laugh
