When i'm bored i dare say like many of you i find myself doing things i wouldn't normally do just to fill the void or escape from whatever bored the living daylights out of me in the first place.

I remember one occasion when i was curious and bored one night and wondered what it would feel like to shave my head with a clipper set that was lying around the place.

Now being a curious bugger i watched the video, fiddled with all the attachments and thought this is easy, not even for a second thinking the person doing the video wasn't a trained experienced hairdresser, oh no......so i plugged it in and thought ill just trim this bit......then that bit and before i knew it i looked like a criminal on day release from Rikers Island.

Why on earth did i do it? But i do know it felt nice to have the short hair and have my scalp breath until i looked in the mirror and saw someone who looked like he was on a wanted poster issued by the police department.

What on earth stupid things have you done when bored out of your head?

Once i was so bored i nearly bought a Mercedes!!! Long story but its true, now i make sure i leave my wallet at home and when i go out i dont do much shopping!!

Your right, so i'm off downstairs to make loads of food and sit there munching everything to convince my muscles that energy will be arriving any second and then they can get me in the car, down the shops to tescos and come home with more useless gadgets and weird food i wont eat!!

I might even make potato salad and ive already cooked up a pile of chick peas but i have the urge fro a giant french loaf and munching it.

Needless to say i have my appetite back Now all i need is the energy to go make all the food

Ha, you sound as bad as I do. Can't sit around waiting for something to happen. Luckily I have lots of toys to amuse myself with.
I too have cut my hair. Needless to say, it required a trip to the headshop.
I have had the devil in me for a long time.
I like to take video of friends and put them with others in compromising situations. Some are amused, some not.
Photoshop is also a blast.

Okay I no longer .Comes with age I think.I once shave my cat so she wouldbe cooler in the hot weather,ended up lookinglike a cross btween a chawawa sp? and a lion with a mane.She hid for 2 days,I cried for 1,thinking why'd I do that?


Another years back the Home Shopping Club on TV at 3 or 4 am,bored and ended up ordering $6oo in jewlry.

We have all done dumb things in private most have sense to keep it quiet.

Myself and some old friends put another of our friends in the middle of the street that I lived on. He was asleep and we were quiet about it. Twenty minutes later the little bastard turned into Muhammad Ali. Of course, tangling with an irish and a canadian girl on CS have proven to be more dangerous.

I dunno but I miss his humour and am pleading the 5th on mischief.....

I am a guy with a lot of body hair(read The Hairy Ape...Eugene O'Neil) but to please a woman, my wife. I shaved my entire body.... everywhere I did this to please her. Little did I know she wanted me to look and feel like her overseas lover, that she couldn't get to. That was probably the dumbest thing I have ever done



A close second....I was at an anti-war demonstration. In Washington DC. I carried a sign that said..."Where is Oswald when we need him" Let's just say, I was DETAINED for a couple of hours

Well, you have to be pretty bored to sit up watching the Jewelry TV channel & ordering parcels of gemstones...
