the frequencies of naturally occurring electromagnetic signals, circulating in the electrically resonant cavity bounded by the earth and the ionosphere, have governed or determined the "evolution" or development of the frequencies of operation of the principal human brain-wave signals.

some electrical field phenomena have already been linked with abnormal cell growth and a decrease in immunocompetency.these factors could be expected to lead to the appearance of"new" diseases, probably accompanied by a decline in resistance to many minor infections, an increase in conditions related to abnormal
cell development, including cancer, birth defects and infertility, and an increase in psychological disturbance problems, e.g., drug addic-tion and suicide. now can i get laid ?

It seems that getting laid may even more problematic and complex than any of us suspected (unless one is so fortunate to be born under the sign of the great "Horn Dog"...?)smitten laugh wave

Honey, this is deadly serious - no room for humor of any kind here (as is the case with almost all my threads)!

I was aiming merely for Dionysus, but I appreciate people recognizing my true royal godly status. blushing

I fail to see what any of this has to do with you perennial quest to get laid, Dilly!

Okay, thanks for that. You know, I think I would grant that we're part of existence and that many if not all aspects of existence could affect our lives, but - and you knew there was a "but," didn't you, DD? - the problem is that the geomagnetic field would be but one of vastly numerous influences on our lives, no?

How would geomagnet fields compare in influence, for example, to DNA or basic things such as intrauterine health, conditions at birth, or even nursing versus non-nursing?

and add this five doctrines of the nature for this subject

every thing happens according to these doctrines(dhamma) ..
these are called the ''fixedness of law'' regarding all things.
signifying the ''fivefold lawfulness'' or ''natural order'' that governs:

1) temperature, seasons and other physical events (uthu niyama)

2) the planet life (bija niyama)

3) karma )kamma niyama)

4)the mind (chitta niyama) e.g.: th lawful functionof consciousness in the process of cognition.

5) dhamma niyama :- certain events connected with dhamma.

here's to you

Astrology is almost as old as dirt. Earliest assessments (to my knowledge) were not only tied to planetary influences, but also to the energy of those planets. Its logical from my investigations, though how and why they assigned specific characteristics to each planet is still a mystery to me.

Recent discoveries in regard to 'an electric universe' would seem to bare out that 'energy' influence and personal experience with well schooled astrologists have proved it viable in accuracy to me. It is no easy task, to make predictions (given the plethura of influences) and everyday newspaper horoscopes tend to ruin the image of its viability.

Why women, more than men? My opinion would be that females in general have a more 'conceptual' view of life, more greys, not so much black and white and astrology to those who don't study it, has always had that 'conceptual' aura to it... like gods and other concepts or things we can't understand

Men generally tend to be linear, blacks and whites, evidence placed in correct order. Its why they tend to want to fix a problem for women when all the woman wants is a listening ear for the most part.

dont argue with me..

Very well spoken & accurate. thumbs up

It's valid in a personality profile sense. Psychologists use natal charts all the time. I don't believe it has any predictive capacity, however...

I've noticed that lots of women find astrology interesting or fun, even if they don't believe it offers fundamental truths. My impression is that much fewer men take it seriously. Assuming my impression is correct, does anyone have an explanation for that?

Also, I'm very curious how believers in astrology acquired this belief. Was it through a critical review of extant evidence and logical argumentation, or through other more intuitive evaluative processes?

I think it's fun to read and read it for purely entertainment purposes...However...a lot of the Libra traits are quite similar to my personality....The daily...weekly forecasts....I don't find all that believable...but they're fun to read!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I find them entertaining, but dislike their inaccuracy. For example, my weekly horoscope read: "Avoid starting argumentative and controversial discussions on singles sites or you may experience an unpleasant reaming of a new orifice." Where do they make up this stuff??dunno very mad

I went to see a genuine astrologist and when before Ii sat down, she said "are you supposed to be somewhere else too?" Damed if I hadnt set up two appn'ts at the same time. Accurate. She also predicted/saw my move to Florida, the woman that I married, how long it would last as well as my son's appearance. A Little more than that as well, that I am unwilling to share here. However, an astologist who knows the art can accurately predict. Unfortuneately there many in it for the money and know little about how. It takes years to get all the information down and be able to piece it all together.

Astrology and planetary positioning is not even anywhere close to being in the same category in order to be compared to any type of horoscope. Two totally different things. Horoscopes are way too general and have no real bearing, in an astrological sense.
