Personally I am more interested in the grey squerriel that is sitting on our porch eating bird seed and keeping the doves away. Solving such major issue and world problems when your doves are not getting fed......seems to be a wrong priority

Hey Ttom...Go check out the little bit of gray fuzz on my profile photos.... My smallest "pet."

Obama would have been proud of the effort at conservation.

I got within about 3 ft of the little fella. He's cute, but I did scare him out of the garden. thumbs up

Of course on 4 sides of me there are dogs, so I probably look like the nicest thing around.

Why not all of the above, is he never to learn and evolve his position? Funny how if he has a position he is criticized thoroughly for taking that position. If he modifies his stand to adapt perhaps the information he has acquired that's wrong too. Guess it's just the nature of politics.

Maybe executive privileged will free him from some of that? Naw, it ain't gonna happen.

This is so true. If he proposed a massive withdrawal the evening of his swearing in, people would lose their minds. He ponders a scaled withdrawal, and nothing but criticism. There's just no win.

If it were only one position, that would be understandable.... But maybe someone can elaborate how many little positions he's modified now that Hillary is out of the way... I think the guy is OK, actually, but politics is the same everywhere. I'm concerned that so many people are blindly backing him on his campaign platform when it's all a bunch of hooey.

And what is the difference between him modifying his position as changes occur, and Bush having to do the same. Everyone calls him a liar about the WMD - but it's what he was led to believe in a time of war. When papers and evidence came to light about saddam, he went after him. Of course, the Opals of the world would argue that it was ALL deliberate, but I can't buy into that...

Yep.... And if he gets to th White House it's going to be the same only worse. Because on top of the current problems, he's going to institute all sorts of new government programs to feed the world and his croonies - and God forbid the health care system - and our taxes will just go waaaaaaaaay up, as usual.

Funny how we don't mind spending billions (and will go trillion) on war but everyone freaks out about programs to help our own. Interesting...
