Ever notice how so many are totally willing to compromise, about things they didn't care about in the first place? LOL

In a personal relationship, sure, but when it comes to other things, like some societal issues, hell no.

To compromise in a relationship etc is being part of a two-people team means exactly that, being a team.

To compromise in a partnership means listening to both arguments, both sides of a case, both points of view. The word 'relationship' means compromise.

It seems to me these days that a relationship has become all too often a power struggle where one person is trying to get the upper hand, to dominate, to get their own selfish way.

I tend to think that people forget the "common good" and are too wrapped up in, "it's all about me"...a common malady of today's world. thumbs down

I think it's still compromise...but for the good of the relationship....and something that is not one sided but is a win-win for both...that's how I see compromise anyway!!!!!!!!!

Both partners walk away happy with a solution to the problem.....wave wink dunno
