Do any of you agree with the OP. I actually think he's right in a way. There has to be enough in a profile for me to decide if I might be interested, but there's only one real way to find out for sure. dunno grin

Hhm........ don't think he was saying that .......... but that most people say the same things and he's read it over and over again through different profiles. Sounds more like he simply wants to cut through the chase and meet in real life - and that I do agree on because no matter what someone says in their profile or on-line - crunch time comes down to the day to day reality of being with that person.

Of course I do, especially if they are good looking. Their profile will let you know if they are a whack job or not, especially the ones with profiles, 5 pages long, Coo Koo!!!head banger head banger head banger

That's what I meant. You can talk forever online, but someone could still be hiding something that will come out when you meet em. I think meeting soon is the only way. dunno But that's just me.

I have to add here, after looking at his profile, there could be a wee bit more in one than that.

Nope, I think a profile should be short and sweet, then if someone is interested, they will get to know the other details later. That is just me...cheers

I agree - make it attractive; but there is also the element of eliminating those who you don't want to write to you in the first place ........ such as the person who only writes one sentence paragraphs. I think part of the attraction is finding others who pick up on the subtle hints and seeing if others notice them or not.
