hahah good point!..

back in my day :: blows cobwebs:: in my town.. .. there was too much stigma about being an unmarried mother..
I wish I hadn't bothered.

That's basically why I got married too. When I announced my pregnancy to my grandma, her first words were, "When are you getting married?" I wanted to do the right thing & in doing that, did the TOTAL WRONG thing. My daughter is pregnant with her third & while I don't condone having 3 kids while not being married, I'd rather see that than what I went through.

No I did it with love in my heart.....wink

know that feeling, I crushed my wedding ring and sold it for the gold value, got another ring and gave it to one of my daughter's who was supposed to be getting married (never did so she has it on a chain round her neck) and the last engagement ring I had (which was worth a lot of money) was stolen when my house was broken into earlier this year mumbling mumbling

That could be a thread in itself, taking other peoples stuff. The last time I stole something I was like 10 and it was a candy bar and my brother-in-law caught me. Never took another thing after that.

I can't even keep something I find.

I kept mine in my jewelry box. Figured I enjoyed it for 20 years why give it or sell it. He was my best friend we just grew apart.
