It's sad to see how some business and site owners try shortcuts and scam other sites for free advertising. Sending someone to a site to solicit and draw members with fake profiles is scam. It speaks poorly of their business ethics and it’s just plain tacky.

Members should be aware and cautious of this type of solicitation as it can be used by scammers who create sites to use only to collect email addresses and other personal info for scam and illegal activity.

The rules at CS (such as no soliciting allowed) are made to protect members and their privacy.
