I agree Lagoona.

People often say they don't care about looks, but IMO that's rubbish. We all need to be physically attracted as well as emotionally bonded.

That's not to say chunky or skinny people cannot find love. Of course they can. However, the most interesting person in the world without the physical attraction would more likely be my friend rather than my lover.

We all have different views about physical attractiveness, thank goodness and that, combined with a personality we can relate to and love makes for the ideal partnership.

The problem is, it's not easy to find both in one person.

Well said, Jan.

i gotta say it's 50% / 50% default , maybe it's what she say's ? how she moves? perhaps something she wrote that sparked interest it's time spent with that person that really should alter the default 50/50
or 0/0 for both man or woman but thats wishful thinking LOL normally it's 1 thing RIGHT NOW that gets it going and when it gone for some reason, hey game over man

i know and feel it every time i reply to a profile, they dont even take the time to answer, after showing and telling them how you think and feel,an honest response would be much better than hitting the delete button,so as far as i can say its most definetly looks .
when will poeple realise that it only works that way on tv. in the movies the good looking poeple always running of into the sunset,in real life the run into the fire pit and get burned.
i know my heart is true and honest and to me that is more important and one day shell figure tat out, besides if you have a good looking partner,he or she is looked at by other poeple and lusted over ,hense the divorce rate around the planet.

I just wanted to reply to this forum and accidently sent mandapanda4u an email, sorry about that hope you don't mind. But anyway, I beleive that an honest person with a great personality will get further in life, than most people that are so superficial. I've only met a couple of people on this site, that can truly step outside themselves. me,me,me, it's allabout me!!!! ha!!!

I think its a balance between both..... First you have to be attracted to him.... If the personality attracts you first then great.... Sometimes we like the looks and there is no personality..... grin

True, and ultimately it will be the personality that keeps us interested. I'll describe my friends by their personality - not their looks.

I'm glad to see so many women say personality first. You can see from my pic that I have no looks.
