I will make the calls and try to make contact - but in all likelyhood we will hear back from the mods before any action is taken anyway. I would feel better knowing we had someone on standby who COULD advise and intervene if necessary... but I won't initiate anything yet

i know no one likes alex but he does make a valid point

and cs owns the rights to all posted
its in the policy and its been posted so many times on forums by them the process they want such things handled

the internet is virtually impossible to prosecute let alone track someone down

too many gadgets available to cloak

once we post our pics or posts etc they are the property of CS

we cannot report a robbery from our neighbors house and press charges

we cannot report a watch stolen that we do not own

only the owner owns it

thats why identity theft is so prevalent and fruitful and successful

im just saying

im not real concerned w/ arguing about it

as a victim of this type of thing
i know what CS expects as my gracious host and i have no qualms about complying

im just not that arrogant
i defer to my hosts

the complain that some one have posted your (plural) pictures as being of her own is the same as others here in CS complaining abou thais situation posting pictures that have a copyright and they do not hold the copyright permition to post it as their own

so give me a break

start keeping the rules and do not post pictures that you font hold the copyritgh, then you can complain others have stolen yur picture

but stop with the double standart

when you do something ileggal it is illegal not because you do it, is legal and when somne one else does it is ilegal

be honest if you want the others to be honest to

if not you can expect to be rewarded with the same coin

My pictures are my property not anyone elses. Because I put them on CS does not make them their property if that where the case they themselves could do anything with them.

They track people down everyday....on the net....it's not hard trust me...I am still waiting on the policies......and why are you sooooooooo against this anyway?????


You seemed fine until legal action was mentioned...some how I doubt it's out of concern....and like I said the profiles on other sites using my pic and others...are not in Cs's hands.....

Storm88 and other profiles he entered have been removed. (These profiles were NOT entered by member Claayer.) You can delete any offensive comments or Q&A's he left by clicking Edit Profile, then Q&A, then Delete.

This whole thing was an extreme response by the banned member to the ridicule and pack attack on him by forum members previously. This certainly in NO WAY justifies his actions, however it should serve as an example of the resulting hurt that can be inflicted when a group of members decides they somehow have the right to pick on someone they don't like, who posts an unpopular thread, who is new or different.. just for laughs.. 'just having fun'.
Everyone involved in the result of that 'fun' shares the blame.




fyi: the "property of the site" statement - simply gives the site the right to display content entered. It doesn't mean CS wants or owns your photos.
