OK I have to ask ... Ship why did you decide at 20 to have this done? Obviously it must have been a pretty important reason.I have never given this subject much thought. When my son was born, his father insisted he be circumcised. I never asked why he was so insistent.

My son doesn't think it was a bad decision.

And why would you hate your parents for such a thing?

True but by the time a man is old enough to make the decision on his own, it is more painful. Parents don't wait until you are old enough to pick your name. They make that decision for you.

Well, as a parents of a son (who's 27 yrs now) - we made the decision not to. His father wasn't and had no problems - so we decided it was best for our son. Plus the fact that he could decide later for himself if it was important (he hasn't) - but anyway, so far as hygiene goes - takes a bit more work to keep clean, but with proper training, no problem as far as I can remember and now that he has a son of his own - he and his wife made the same decision, so I assume he's been happy with our decision.

And as far as sexual experiences - I've been with both cut and uncut - makes no difference really - so it's merely a personal decision I think - but once it's done, it's gone, can't undo - but if it's not done, can be done later if the the man chooses.

do the uncut ones smell bad?

of course not.

Circumcising children for social or religious reasons is just wrong.

How many of you would have your daughters circumscised at birth?

And as for babies feeling it less than adults, that is hogwash. They just have no way except crying, of telling you that.

If there is no valid medical reason then adults have no right to mutilate their children, be it circumcision, face scarring, ear piercing, or any other form of surgical procedure.

As adults we have the right to do as we please with our bodies, but as previous men have said, they wouldn't have it done given the choice.wine
