Ladies, Why is it when men show no signs of interests in you, you tend to try twice as hard to get us to like you, then if or when we start to show interest back, your automatically not interested anymore... Alot of times you do this even when you have no interest in the man to begin with? Is it just the ego trip or game that you enjoy, of knowing "I could have him if I want him" you even do these competitions against your girlfriends at bars/clubs and stuff "see if you can get a certain guy to like you more than your friends" People say men have higher ego's than women, I'm not so sure.........What do you say?

It's the mind games and both sexes play.

Neither one has a patent on doing so.

I did that back in college.

Went to bars, partied, flirted with guys and felt great doing it.

Then, the next morning, when I had sobered up....one of them was usually waiting outside my dorm.

And I'd realize that they were just not my TYPE wow!

I learned real quick to be careful what I asked for because I might just get it laugh

Ohhh noooo..!!! scold I DON't chase men... its that simple!! And I don't pander to egos... not my raison d'etre, I'm afraid.

If he's not interested I can't do much about that. If he is but can't be arsed making an effort......
Ciao!! wave
Its seems increasingly evident that "making a bit of an effort" is translated by many men as "too much like hard work"!! Very sad and not terribly flattering....

But, no, I won't pretend I fancy someone if I don't, that's misleading and not very fair, eh?!!

Good thread, my friend!! thumbs up

Wish I had concrete answers for you... it happens the other way 'round too. Most of the time it's just: the thrill of the chase, ego-trip based agenda! Also some people don't really know what they want...so they just play around messing with people's minds and hearts..... thumbs down

On the other hand, realistically, it can also be that a person might discover something in the other that they dislike, or has put them off. Initial attraction might be only that: and getting to really know someone might send that attraction to the dogs! Chemistry is not only about physical attraction.....

dunno

Thank you TATER that's twice today I've been called a lady.

What you read in most of my comments here comes from my heart.

I always figure it's better to be my REAL self then to be a carbon copy of someone else.
