An opposing view

6 weeks to fall in love? 12 weeks to fall in love, 6 months, 12 months?

question is is the thrill gone for you with this woman, or is it simply the "gift giving" trait she has that brings about your decision to chill or end it.

I can think of other characteristic of a woman that are annoying

but if it a matter of the thrill /attraction is gone cut her loose.

Well at last someone seeing things from my perspective! why is it her falling in love or the gifts that is sooooo bad?

has she actually said she loves you? and what did you reply? because that would have been a good coversation to have then :]

I think firelighter is right you just don't want the committment anymore or don't fancy her???

can't say I agree with you there, as for people only seeing what they want to see. if he continues to spend time with her when she wants. is he not sending the wrong signal? has he turned her down to be with her, or is he really enjoying his time with her, and gifts?
Or even maybe even the love making?

things that make you go hhmmmmmmm!

On that note i think you are sooo right i bet he has no problem with having sex with her it's just the honesty he can not do... typical man i say take, take, take.

Women have well developed instincts (the ability to interpret what really goign on from just a subtle subconsious thing that a guy does). Dont be at all surprised if she KNOWS you havent fallen for her. Just watch.conversing

Well alot of women tend to do this and alot of men find it off putting. I think better to have a chat with her about it but it depends on whether you want to work at the relationship or not I think. Most men want a relationship but when it looks like the woman is being needy, clingy etc or may be hard work to talk to they switch off understandably. But I am no expert! Maybe suggest being friends??

Good luck

Thats the only way to happiness and inner peace. hug hug

Be honest, first with yourself, then with her. She sounds a little needy. If that's not what you want, cut it off. If she can't take that, it's not your problem. dunno As long as you're up front and honest, that's all anyone has a right to ask.

ooff topic but i completely disagree with his ideas on thsi( regardless of the fact that you don't want to marry himrolling on the floor laughing ) You don't PLAN to become engaged-IMO once you decide you want to get married, then your ARE engaged!!!ring or not.

As to the OP- I reaaaaly hope the girl you are seeing isn't from here, or that could be an extremely cruel way to let her down . I think you should really consider how you do feel about her, as opposed to how you don't feel about her. and if you are sure you could never grow to love her, then tell her gently that you don't think you will ever feel the same way about her, and that it is only fair to her, to look for that from someone else
