Really good first date. FANTASTIC good night kiss. He calls me the next day to confirm another date for ... today. Well, no phone call before today ... and today rolled by with no contact at all ... BUT I know that he's online. So what am I supposed to think?

I really hate mixed/confusing/changing messages!

*sigh*

DO you want an "OPINION"??????? Turn around and walk the other way. "MOST" of us are way to old to play childish games.dunno

Now, in my case, I am old and senile so I would have a good excuse..wink (not really)...

I'd be annoyed to say the least. if he just plain forgot and apologizes them maybe there's hope.

If he's been giving you mixed messages on a regular basis, then maybe he needs his space.....a lot of it.

Most everyone has more patience than I do. If it were me, I'd turn 'em loose and never answer his mixed ass messages again.

i hope it turns out alright for ya

Sounds like he's playing childish games like someone else said.

If it was me I'd write him off as a bad debt.

This happened on your birthday?!? That's just RUDE! What an awful thing to do someone on a birthday!

Thanks for the advice. I've just metaphorically bootkicked this guy to the curb.

Now you're scaring me. Most of the people around my age say that they don't want to get into the "whole dating scene" again. Well, I'm totally new to dating. In my younger years, I dove straight into several long-term relationships and skipped the dating phase entirely. I guess I'm doing this backwards, but it sounds ... well, scary ... like I have to be prepared for high frustration levels. Not fun.

hi sienne wave

greg behrendt would agree with me when i tell you to just walk away...walk away hun.

cut your losses and don't waste your time...

Don't let the "honeys" and the "babys" fool you. His sweet nothings are exactly that. They are much easier to say than "I'm just not that into you." Remember, actions speak louder than, "There's no cell reception where I am right now."

Calling when you say you're going to call is the very first brick in the house you are building of love and trust. If he can't lay this one stupid brick down, you ain't never gonna have a house, baby. And it's cold outside.

hope you're okay...comfort hug
