Life is good...great right now...I really do love California...gosh the sea and weather here... and some women actually get me...only on the west coast...

I would like to interject here, if I may. You see, I am one of the "older" women. I am 61, but to me, it's just a number. I spent 20 years of marriage with a man that is 19 years younger than I. And, now that I am on these dating sites, it is wierd how, so many times, a younger man, and I am talking in their 20's, 30's and 40's, will contact me. I, personally, find men my age, and older, are a turn off to me, as they act "old", and I may be older, but that is just a number to me. I think in this day and age, age should not be such a big thing. Why is it, that an old man, can carry on with a young woman, and they say "Way to go." but if I am with a younger man, I am called a "cougar." And, I am supposed to act my age. Well, I am not old, I am just chronilogically challenged! And, I am not giving up on having some fun, as long as I feel like it!

How much longer are you away for? Id love to see that Californian coastline - one day...........

Ive noticed when looking at guys profiles that quite a few of you still prefer to go for nobody older than themselves and in some cases up to maybe 5 or so yrs younger - whats this about? My own preference is sort of the same age give or take maybe 5 yrs or so - Im not into the toy boy thing but am just trying to understand this attitude of 'definitely not older'
