hi Trish It's really surprising how many younger women have e-mailed me. I tell them I am too old for them. They say they like older men. Then I have to be rude and say "..I don't like younger women"

haha, I know what you mean Ship - I get messages from some who would be too young for my daughter to date laugh I just want somebody on the same wavelength and doubt very much that I could find that in somebody 30 yrs younger - I get on great with younger people, have no problems relating and dont pull the age thing either but I want to be able to just look in my partners face when we share an amusing moment and see the same smile - not a look of bewilderment cos im laughing at something they arent really sure of - I know thats not necessarily an age thing but its maybe a big part of it dunno

and here you are debating with me that they're just ideals that don't happen in real life..

I've said it before, I'll never understand a woman's ability to hold contradictory sides in the same hand, and each one emphatically as if they belong together.

You dont have to understand us Al, just adore us - that'll do nicely rolling on the floor laughing sticking out tongue bouquet of flowers

I can't speak for anyone else, but in my case I spent the last 20 years of my life caring for 2 different women who had significant health issues. It seems to me that when women hit about 40, their insides start turning on them. Women may live longer than men but they seem to do it with a lot more medical issues. I'd just like to have a few years with a woman where I don't spend all my spare time sitting in doctor offices and emergency rooms or brewing tea and cleaning up body fluids.
Maybe I've just had really bad luck but I know many men my age who are in the same boat.

You know I hae a theory about boxes. It's not so much that we have them , but that the people who perceive us have them........

Categorising people that we don't know is a very mind narrowing experience don't you think?rolling on the floor laughing

rolling on the floor laughing

oh lady of the mirrors,
thou dost hold me in contempt
when I only look at me
yet thinking I see you

why dost thou reflect
my every living thought
pointing back at me
you make me so distraught.

its not the world I see
my world that sees the me
if you'd just accept this one time
that you are my reflection

Nobly spaced in time.
