I stayed with my best friend from High Schools Family, then Dad moved to NSW cause of us leaving Mum, and got a house so we moved in with him.

I had left school and he said you're not sitting around on your ass. You come with work with me until you get a job and that's what I did.

Interesting this....

18. No problems really at home, just wanted to fluff out my own wings.

Never went to live back home again, and have been threading my own path ever since.

Still got good vibes with the rest of the family.

But I came to live on the smaller of the islands. Would be amazed at how far a twenty minute ferry ride across the channel really is.......
