If you soak a boiled egg in pepsi or coke-cola it will desolve the shell. You will have a soda flavored egg but no pealing the shell.

I never have herd this before, water presure will make a suttle differnce in the boiling point but there is likely a better explination having to do with the propertys of glass.

Dennis ,,, but don't do it works and don't move the glass wile the microwave is still running.
