I make up my own insect repellent.
Citronella mixed with almond oil works
quite well and has a pleasant odour.

If that fails, I rely on the urine trick.thumbs up

I remember them. I got malaria twice in Kenya and nearly died both times. First time I lost nearly 45 lbs in a weekend......

I was working in an area that was high risk for malaria so I knew the score. All the precautions in the world didn't stop it happening. I was lucky I got the stomach kind and not the cerebral kind.
