giggle

Anyone know any fail safe ways of getting them OUT of bed in the mornings?

My daughter is almost unconscious when it's time to wake up.. (really!) No matter how early she gets to bed.. she is practically comatose in the morning.. and it's becoming a big problem.

I wake her every ten mins for almost 2hrs.. and I just don't have time to faff about doing that every day.

When I say wake her.. I mean it's at the point now where I have to make as much noise as possible AND shake the flippin bed.. rolling eyes frustrated ...

Gone are the days of.. Morning honey, time to get up. frustrated

Any ideas? ... anyone else have one of these teens? ...

MY boys aren't like that.. confused

Oh...that is SOOOOOOOOOO simple......

a bucket of water....

it's cheap, easy on fabric, mild cleansing action, unforgettable effect, and achieves objective instantaneously....satisfaction guarenteed....or your bucket back....

mornin' Claire...

No seriously now....remember you're talking to an old bachelor here, with no child-raising experience.....I'm sure that a bucket of water used once, and only once, would forever change that habit....if that kid knows that they have to be up by a certain time otherwise there's a price to pay.....how bad is that??...I mean, life is not going to be any easier on them later on, and the army would do the same or worse, so where's the problem??...Why not get the lesson learned before it's too late....you'd be setting up a great habit of getting up and going early...fantastic!!

They tried that on me Do you know what happened ??
I was late a lot rolling on the floor laughing

Claayer maybe it’s time to break out the big guns (literally) what you do is go into the next room bang the furniture and make monkey sex sounds , there is nothing like the sounds of ones parent doing the nasty to disturb a youngster’s sleep , trust me your biggest problem will be getting her to but cloths on as she runs screaming from the house ,grin

Failing that just leave the stereo in her room blasting

hahah.. I have tried all the threats of going to school in her undies.. or worse still .. (for her) without being allowed to straighten her crazy hair. giggle

At the moment I am trying.. on the days she does not make it to school on time, she doesn't get to go out after school.. no swimming no youth club etc etc.

So for the last 4 school days... she has gone nowhere.
