"Why do I attract the same kinda guys/gals" or "Are any loyal & truthful guys/gals anymore"...

Everyone is going to encounter a lousy date. They may even get sucked into a long term relationship that ends poorly. The odds are just set up for it. This does not mean you have to keep encountering the same kinds of situations over & over again.
If you are... the fault ceases to become "the other person's"...

Think about it.
