Besides.......millions and millions of people are single.I DON'T know what there is to be embarressed about.

Trying to impress three sexy lifeguards, and jumping off a diving board and doing a belly flop into a pool like I did....is QUITE EMBARRESSING.

I'm a terrible diver.....and I DON'T SWIM REAL WELL,but I GOT THE DOG PADDLE DOWN PACKED. laugh

I'd rather be single for the right reasons than with someone for the wrong.

Embarrassing? hell no, liberating, somewhat.

Specially, when you hear the way some of the chaps at work get henpecked blues

Blah blah blah, when you knock off go to the post office, do this do that, pick up this pick up that...............
rolling eyes

Me: has she had a busy day then.................

Him/them: looking after the kids......

Me: but.... they're both in nursery... right?

Him/them..... Well. yeah...... but.......

Me: pffffffffffft.... love the thumb print on ya scalp rolling on the floor laughing

Him/them.... Foxtrot Oscar !!!!!!!

Embarrassed? Nah

Quite often relieved grin

Mind you some jiggy would come in handy uh oh!

Embarrassed?... nope, but I do tend to avoid things like going to restaurants alone or movies alone. Not so much out of embarrassment, but having no one to share the experience with. Some things are better done alone, being social alone just seems wrong.

I have never really thought of it that way. I am not embarrassed, just tired of it.

Its not nice if you are invited to a wedding, or want to go away. I don't like been Single (few weeks now, I'm woman free)

What do you feel......

M

Depends....... being the only one not in a couple when going out.....sucks.

Did not mind being single, but when I saw ladies at work getting flowers, going out for lunch etc with their significant other or spouse..... that is when I started to feel lonely.... also get tired of doing everything alone.

Embarrased.... only when I am introduced as the divorced daughter.... or this is my daughter she is divorced..... and a comment is made about people not staying together.
